      Once we establish your website's scope, aesthetic, and colours, we can begin the 7-day build. At this stage, please send me any photos, videos, social media links, and information you want included on your website.

Extra pages, Online Store & Appointment Booking

If your website needs additional service pages, appointment booking and an online store, I will need two weeks to accommodate these services. These features require a more in-depth consultation and extra time for the build.

  • During our consultation, we aim to gather as much information as possible about your services or products. I understand it might be challenging to fully prepare before the meeting, so we can finalize the details by email after the meeting if that’s more convenient for you. I will require photos of all products for product-based businesses—multiple images are preferred for close-ups, lifestyle shots, etc.

Book a Day

"Book a Day" is a day-rate service designed for clients who need dedicated, hands-on assistance with their website and digital marketing. Whether you have a long list of edits and updates or need new marketing materials, this service provides you with undivided attention and expertise for a full five-hour block.

  • This service is perfect for clients who have previously had their website built by me and now require additional updates and enhancements. Instead of tackling these tasks, you can book me for a day to handle everything on your list efficiently.

How The Process Works

  • 1 - Meet with Laura

    The first step is to schedule a meeting or call with Laura. During this session, we'll discuss the details of your project, establish the size of the website, and identify any preparatory steps needed, such as gathering photos, before we start building your website.

  • 2 - Build you a Website

    I'll begin building your website based on the plan we created during our initial meeting. This plan ensures transparency and efficiency, allowing me to complete the initial website build within 7 days.

  • 3 - Extra pages

    If you require additional features, such as an online store or service appointment booking system, we'll integrate these functionalities into your website. This step typically takes an extra 7 days, ensuring that your website meets all your business needs.

  • 4 - Test & Launch

    After testing and final adjustments, your website will be ready for launch. You'll then purchase a Squarespace plan and activate your domain, making your website live for the world to see.

  • I am open to clients from any location. If you're a small business, artisan, entrepreneur, or organizer of a community-focused event, I'll be excited to work with you.

  • I can build a standard 5-page website, I can build it in 7 days. I only work on one website at a time. During our initial consultation, my goal is to learn as much as possible about your business, your website goals, and what you hope to gain from launching an online business.

    Before I begin your allocated week, I would like your logo (if you have one) and all the photos and/or videos you need on your website. If the website is more extensive and has additional pages, appointment booking, or an online store, it could take two weeks or longer, depending on its size. We will discuss this during our consultation and settle on a timeframe and pricing accordingly.

  • I offer highly competitive rates. For a website up to 5 pages, the cost is $1,000. This could include a Homepage, Services, About, Portfolio/Gallery/Blog, and Contact page. Each additional page is $200. Building an online store costs $500, as this requires extra time for product descriptions, pricing, photos, and store payment integration. Integrating a service appointment calendar is $500, which includes setting up your services, calendar, staff availabilities, service durations, prices, and descriptions.

  • In addition to website building, I offer services such as website maintenance, content updates, SEO optimization, e-commerce setup, and digital marketing assistance.

  • Absolutely! I offer two weeks of offboarding support after your website goes live. Then, I offer a website maintenance package called Book a Day, in which I will be dedicated to your specific project from 9 AM to 2 PM on a scheduled day.

  • I build websites on Squarespace 7.1 Fluid Engine. I prefer Squarespace because of its user-friendly dashboard, which makes it easiest for clients to manage themselves after transferring the site to the business owner. The pros of using Squarespace 7.1 Fluid Engine include its intuitive drag-and-drop interface, responsive design capabilities, and robust integration options.

    Acuity Scheduling is also beneficial for its seamless appointment booking, customizable scheduling options, and integration with other tools.
